radio is proud to have Pit Stop back for another season with new host,
well-known writer Dave Sully. Dave, who won the FOAR SCORE Fan Club's
Media Award in 2001, writes for "Area Auto Racing News," the largest
racing trade paper in the Northeast headquartered in Trenton, NJ,
"Trackside Magazine," "Sports and Leisure Magazine," which
covers Western New York and Southern Ontario, plus online magazines, Pitstop and
Raceway Magazine. He has covered racing from the local level to the NASCAR
Busch Series, and has interviewed the likes of NASCAR champion Tony Stewart,
Dale Earnhardt Jr., Open Wheel star Paul Tracy, who just missed winning the INDY
500 and Mario Andretti, one of the biggest names in racing history. During
the past year, he wrote a story for Trackside on Eric Norris, son of actor Chuck
Norris, who is the current NASCAR Winston West Champion, Erin Crocker, the
sensational female sprint car racer, and local racer, Randy Chrysler. He
has also done PR work for Northern Motorsports and Little Valley Speedway.
Aside from his interest in racing, Dave, who is a retired
English teacher, having spent 32 years with the Hamburg Central School District,
is an avid motorcyclist. He and his wife, Marcia, have cycled in all of
North America, including all 50 states, all the Canadian provinces, and Mexico.
Cycling to and from races has also been a part of the recent
racing agenda, and there are plans to continue to double the pleasure this
season.
